Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing, receiving, using or presenting a ticket, entering the event or participating in an event activity, attendees agree to these Terms & Conditions, applicable venue rules and lawful directions of authorised event personnel. The purchaser must review these terms before purchase and communicate them to persons for whom tickets are purchased. Material changes affecting consumer rights will be appropriately communicated and will not retrospectively remove accrued rights.
Admission Rights
Entry requires a valid ticket and may be subject to identity verification, security checks, capacity controls and safety requirements. The Organiser may refuse admission or remove persons for valid reasons including violence, harassment, unsafe intoxication, prohibited articles, ticket fraud or refusal to follow reasonable safety instructions. No refund will ordinarily be due for removal caused by an attendee’s misconduct, subject to applicable law. Admission decisions must not be unlawful or discriminatory.
Tickets and Entry
A ticket grants only the date, category and access rights expressly stated at purchase. Duplicated, manipulated or fraudulently acquired tickets may be rejected. Unauthorised resale and commercial exploitation are prohibited. The Organiser is not responsible for fraud by unauthorised third-party sellers except where liability arises under law. Re-entry is governed by the policy displayed at the venue and on the ticketing platform.
Event Programme and Changes
The Organiser may reasonably alter participating restaurants, chefs, artists, installations, activities, schedules or layouts for legitimate operational, regulatory or safety reasons. No particular performer or vendor is guaranteed unless expressly sold as a specific ticket entitlement. Incidental changes do not automatically trigger refunds; material changes substantially affecting the purchased experience remain subject to the published refund policy and applicable consumer law.
Cancellation, Postponement and Force Majeure
The Organiser may cancel, postpone, suspend or curtail the event in response to extreme weather, natural disaster, government directions, loss of necessary permissions, fire, serious security or public-health threats, civil disturbance, venue unavailability or major infrastructure failures outside its reasonable control. Official channels will communicate rescheduling or refund arrangements, subject to the published policy and applicable law. Independently incurred travel, accommodation and consequential expenditure is excluded only insofar as the law permits.
Food Safety, Allergies and Dietary Requirements
Food is prepared, supplied and sold by participating food business operators, who are responsible for their applicable licences, food safety, hygiene and ingredient information. Food may contain allergens including nuts, dairy, gluten, soy, eggs, sesame and shellfish, or be subject to cross-contact. Attendees with allergies or dietary restrictions must enquire directly with the relevant vendor before purchase or consumption. The Organiser does not independently certify each dish as allergen-free. Nothing excludes legal responsibility for negligence, unsafe food or non-excludable statutory duties.
Health, Safety and Personal Responsibility
Large public events involve foreseeable risks including crowd movement, temporary installations, uneven surfaces and weather exposure. Attendees must exercise reasonable care, supervise minors and follow safety instructions. Certain activities may require additional conditions. Hazards, injuries and emergencies should be promptly reported to event personnel. The Organiser will take reasonable safety measures but cannot guarantee an entirely risk-free environment.
Limitation of Organiser Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Organiser excludes indirect or consequential economic losses, including lost earnings, business opportunities and independently booked travel or accommodation. For ordinary contractual claims, aggregate liability may be limited to the ticket amount paid by the affected attendee, except where prohibited by law. No limitation excludes liability that cannot legally be restricted, including relevant liability for death, personal injury, negligence, fraud, wilful misconduct, statutory violations or consumer rights. The Organiser is not automatically responsible for every independent third-party act; responsibility depends on applicable legal duties and facts.
Third-Party Vendors and Purchases
Unless expressly stated otherwise, transactions at independent vendor counters are between the attendee and seller. Vendors are responsible for their products, pricing, applicable taxes, warranties and legal compliance. Attendees should keep receipts and report concerns to the vendor or event helpdesk. Assistance by the Organiser does not automatically transfer the vendor’s contractual obligations.
Personal Property
Attendees must reasonably safeguard their belongings. The Organiser is not responsible for theft, loss or damage except where legally responsible. Unattended or suspicious property may be dealt with under applicable security procedures.
Photography, Videography and Publicity
Event photography, filming and audio recording may take place for documentation, security and promotion. Attendees may incidentally appear in crowd images. Use of identifiable images is subject to applicable privacy and publicity rights; close-up promotional use, particularly involving children, may require separate consent. Commercial filming, broadcasting or professional content production by attendees requires prior written approval.
Prohibited Activities
Without prior written approval, attendees may not undertake unauthorised selling, brand ambush marketing, distribution of commercial material, fundraising, professional filming, drone operation, dangerous activities, interference with event infrastructure or unlawful conduct. The Organiser may take proportionate steps to stop such activities.
Intellectual Property
Festival names, trademarks, logos, designs, creative concepts, original installations and content associated with GIFT and The Experience Edit LLP remain protected by applicable intellectual property law. A ticket does not grant commercial use rights. Misleading claims of affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement are prohibited.
Minors and Child Safety
Children must meet the ticketing and admission policy. Minors below the age specified in the published policy must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Parents and guardians remain responsible for reasonable supervision. The Organiser may operate lost-child and child-safety procedures.
Accessibility
The Organiser will make reasonable efforts to support attendees with disabilities, consistent with venue infrastructure and applicable requirements. Guests requiring assistance may contact the event team in advance.
Complaints and Dispute Resolution
Complaints may be submitted to the official event helpdesk or support contact and will be addressed within reasonable timelines. Indian law governs these terms. Subject to mandatory statutory rights and competent consumer forums or courts, courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have jurisdiction.
Severability
If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in force insofar as legally permitted.
Refund and Cancellation
For all refund and cancellation requests related to tickets, please contact District (the official ticketing partner) directly through their platform or support channels. The Organiser does not process ticket refunds or cancellations independently. All such requests will be governed by District’s applicable refund and cancellation policy.
